Mixing Instructions

Classic New Orleans recipe. Some recipes use cognac, some prefer rye. We use a bit of both, while staying true to the original.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz Rye Whiskey
  • 1.5 oz Cognac
  • 0.5 oz Simple Syrup
  • 2 dashes Angostura Bitters
  • 4 dashes Peychaud's Bitters
  • Absinthe rinse

Notes

Stirred, served up in a rocks glass. garnish with lemon twist
